I am all for the cozy, warm, and snuggly feels during these very cold Carolina days. The staple tops, sweater dresses and accessories that are a must have for cold weather are what’s trendy and in heavy rotation in my closet these days. However, today’s look does not fit the descriptions I just listed. It’s simply a sweater dress. There’s no warm and cozy factor to it. But, if you decide to wear this paired with leggings or denim, this becomes a totally different story.
This was a mega steal from Express! I’m sure you know by now that Express is one of my favorite stores. I mean who doesn’t want to shop for work, social, and special occasions all under one roof?
This Cold Shoulder Cable Knit Sweater dress comes in the color neutral, which is what I am wearing. In store, they have this dress in black and gray also. I am not sure why those colors are not offered through the website. With limited color options, here, here, and here are some very similar looks for you to rock.
I decided to pair this sweater dress with my infamous camel, long coat that I picked up from Forever 21. This exact coat is not available but here and here are two similar looks. These options are super budget friendly, too.
Of course, my over the knee (OTK) boots are the same as my black boots that I shared last month. I grabbed the same pair in what I like to call the “basic colors.” Always have a good black shoe and a good neutral one to accompany it. They are super comfy, can be dressed up or down, and are the great culminating piece to your look.
Let’s not forget to mention hair, ladies and gentlemen! This install was perfectly executed by none other than Nov! Book her like right NOW ! She is my go to girl and I am more than willing to share her! She’s located here in Columbia, S.C. during the week and in Charlotte, N.C. on Friday and Saturday! Be sure to let her know that I sent you!
