Fragrance Frenzy

Happy Monday, beautiful!

Recently, I shared with the girlies that one of my newest obsessions is perfume and fragrances. Honestly, I can’t believe I’m even saying that because I was never a fragrance girl until the end of last year. So yes, I’m still very much a newbie in this world—but I am loving every second of it.

If you’re curious, my favorite fragrance notes are gourmand, amber, and musk. And depending on my mood, outfit, or the season, I love adding a touch of florals into the mix as well. This has been my go to scent combo & it’s linked:

Now, fragrance experts, don’t come for me—but this is the layering routine that works for me on a basic level.

Step 1: Start with a scented body wash
I usually choose a vanilla-based scent because it’s neutral and pairs beautifully with almost everything. Think of it as the foundation of the entire fragrance experience.

Step 2: Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize
After my shower, I apply a rich body butter and a scented body oil. Lately, I’ve been loving Naturium Body Butter mixed with an EOS lotion as my base. And if you’re looking for amazing fragrance oils, Brown Sugar Babe has some phenomenal options. When paired correctly, they smell absolutely heavenly.

Step 3: Body Mist
This is where I might get a little carried away. I spray everywhere—arms, neck, clothes, hair, and pretty much every inch in between. We want the scent trail, sis!

Step 4: Perfume
Finally, I apply my perfume to all of my favorite pulse points: wrists, inner arms, chest, neck, behind my ears, and behind my knees (yes, behind your knees! My sister put me onto that little gem). Then I’ll finish with a light mist into the air and walk through it because… why not?

And that’s my fragrance layering routine!

Now, full transparency—I don’t do this every single day. I’d say I go all out about 3 days a week. The other 4 days, I’m perfectly happy with a body mist, a quick spray of perfume, and going about my business.

I’d love to know: what are your favorite scents or fragrance notes? Are you a gourmand girlie, a floral lover, or something completely different?

Let’s connect in the comments, sis!

Love youuuu,

KCS
